Abstract : A robust Bayesian estimation of location parameter ? of symmetric stable distributions ? ? (2, 1.5, 1, 0.5) used to estimate the location parameter ? for the posterior distribution. Normal distribution is used as special case form the family of symmetric stable distributions to show the derivation of the asymptotic estimation of location parameter. Computer simulation used to investigate the performance of our robust procedure. Our robust procedure can be adopted to investigate other symmetric distribution.
