Abstract : The study tested the availability and use of marketing information systems in the food industry and determining the contribution of marketing information system in strategic decision-making has also custom study on administrative barriers that limit the use of marketing information system efficiently by local factories. The study was to obtain data and information on a random sample of the food factories in Jeddah and Riyadh and Dammam, the data were analyzed using statistical methods. The study found the lack of marketing information systems for a large segment of companies operating in the field of food and the importance of the study recommends that companies provide marketing information system, which have a significant effect when making marketing decisions necessary.
